This preparation is applicable with finger tips, gauze or Cotton. Excessive use of this product may not obtain better, or faster results, but clear redness, peeling or other disturbances. Continue medication in case of patient endurance. Increase of inflammation may appear during the first week medication. This is caused by the effective medication on prior invisible comedones and deep acne papules. Generally, results are noticeable after 2 or 3 weeks medication, while optimal results are expected after 6 week medication
Do not apply on, or adjacent to, eyes, mouth, nose corners and mucous membranes. Topical application enables severe local erythema and peeling on the application spot. In case of local irritation level, advice patient to infrequently, temporary, or totally stop applying this product. Vitamin A acid may cause severe irritation on eczema skin and should be carefully applied to this patient. Apply carefully in case of combined use with ceratolitic products, such as salicylic acid, sulphur etc. Avoid direct sunlight as soon as practicable during VITACID CREAM usage.
